The Residences

Misión La Serena's 12 low-rise buildings feature stucco facades, Mexican rustic beam treatments and high ceilings. Access to each two or three-bedroom residence opens onto an entertainment area, with foyer and half-bath, a spacious living room with fireplace, a flat screen home theater with DVD player and Bose sound system, and a dining room comfortably seating six. Behind the dining area are a fully equipped open gourmet kitchen and a hidden laundry center. Glass pocket sliders flank the living room, accessing the lounge terrace and infinity plunge pool. Each residence is entirely maintenance-free and completely furnished, with high-speed Internet access. Classically appointed with understated elegance and original art, residences feature rich and inviting textures of travertine pattern floors. Master bedrooms are replete with king-size bed, flat screen TV, DVD player, and safe-deposit box, and open on to the terrace and infinity-plunge pool. Exquisitely designed master baths have separate toilet, a double sink and vanity area, a wet area with multiple nozzle shower, elevated plunge tub and a terrace with open-air shower. Each building has a rooftop social area and whale-watching deck where owners may enjoy private massages and treatments, candlelight dinners and barbeque cookouts.

Misión La Serena will be constructed in four phases. Phase One's Building S1 (three two-bedroom residences) and building S2 (six three-bedroom residences), main pool, beach club, pool and beach snack bar, and beach access are under construction.

Headquartered in México City, D.F., Casa Real is a private development company focused on the luxury residential market. CEO Manuel Espinosa Escandón holds a MBA from Georgetown University with a background in manufacturing, corporate banking, and residential real estate construction and development. The distinguished 400-year-old Espinosa and Escandón dynasties contributed significantly to the founding of México, and to the development of the country's national rail system. Recent Casa Real projects include the fractional ownership Grand Regina villas and Private Residence Club in Los Cabos.

Architects - IDEA Asociados

Founded in 1968, Idea Asociados de México is a prestigious México City-based architectural firm specializing in architectural design, planning, urban design, and landscape and facilities consulting. Partners Daniel Camhi, Jorge Alvarez, and Agustin Caso have designed joint venture projects with firms in the United States, Canada, Japan, Germany, and Greece.
